Lloyd A Bergman’s legal practice began with a focus on tax and business law which allowed Lloyd to build expertise covering the many legal and operational challenges of businesses and their owners. Through Lloyd’s involvement and guidance, Brian became a trusted advisor to many of the owners and executives of his corporate clients. As Lloyd’s practice and Brian’s clients’ needs progressed, Lloyd became an excellent estate planning advisor to his clients. Today, Brian primarily focuses his practice on estate planning and wealth transfer, including the creation of wills and trusts, charitable plans and estate administration. With his expertise in a multitude of legal areas developed throughout his career, Brian has the ability to assist clients in planning their affairs by bringing the big picture into focus and effectively ascertaining the clients’ personal goals and the best methods to reach those goals.

Lloyd is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lloyd has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation; an honor limited to less than 1/3 of 1% of lawyers in Texas. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association), and the Houston Bar Association.

Lloyd and his wife, Jennier, enjoy time spent and experiences shared with the families of their sons. Brian is a self-described recreational fly fisherman and golfer. He has served non-profit organizations too numerous to count throughout his career, including over 30 years serving as the legal advisor to the various Philanthropy Foundations
